  • Thought Fox's rotation made much more sense tonight. It was mostly an 8-man rotation, and Kessler probably got a few extra minutes because of foul trouble. I'm betting it continues to be like that going forward, but I do expect Crump to gradually see more minutes as the year goes on.
  • Loved the 3-2 matchup with a little extended pressure in the 2nd half. Made it harder for GW to get clean looks from 3-point range like they did in the first half.
  • I was a little surprised Fox rolled with Diatta and Harris all the way down the stretch, but it was the right move. They played well in the zone defense. Harris is going to be a really player, and you can already see his play-making ability coming through. Diatta's size and versatility is exactly what Fox seems to like in his SF.
  • Seen a lot of talk about Crump's lack of minutes. Think it has more to do with him playing PG for the first time than anything else. It's an adjustment for him. Like I said above, I do think eventually he'll see more time on the court.
  • Tonight is the type of team UGA needs to be all year. Frazier and Maten leading the way and scoring about half the points, but getting quality production in the scoring column from six other players. Derek Ogbeide looks like he's ready to be that consistent third scorer, and Parker has been right at 8 or 9 points per game as well.
  • J.J. Frazier did a terrific job tonight. Like Fran Fraschilla kept saying, he didn't force the action too much and did a great job running the team. Made timely shots and big plays. Played exactly how you would expect an experienced senior PG to play.
  • UGA won the boards 39-27 tonight. Had 16 assists and only 6 TO's. Both of those stats will win you a lot of games.
