...You've already seen this, but Bradley Stewart will miss the season after undergoing elbow surgery. Coach said he had an issue when he came from EKU, team took a chance when they brought him in; surgery was not a surprise.
...Alton Davis is being stretched out, and could potentially start, but is a guy who can be used in any normal of roles, including closing.
...They are monitoring the innings for JT Quinn, at least early on.
...Matthew Hoskins has shown great velocity, but Johnson spent a lot of time this fall working on his off-speed pitches, and slider.
...Zach Brown could receive some starts; Wes raves about him. Four-pitch pitcher, ground ball guy who see a TON of action.
...Leighton Finley and Kolten Smith are in great shape and look primed for big years.
...Freshman pitcher Nate Taylor finished as one of the top five pitchers for the fall in term of production. Wes said he has a unique ability to slow the game down.
...Southern Cal transfer Eric Hammond is a "guy you will see out there"
...Johnson cited Jordan Stephens' arm, but notes he needs to learn to pitch in the SEC.
...Redshirt freshman Paul Farley has impressed....95-plus.

...Devin Obee "is as adverstied." Tireless worker.
...Henry Hunter "has taken a jump."

...Tre Phelps: Said his biggest deal this year will be performing "with a target on his back."
...Ryland Zaborowski: "Looks really, really good right now."
