Earlier today we started chasing rumors of Sony in a sling due to a broken collar bone.
The first person I spoke to told me Michel had a fractured shoulder.
Then we were told it was possibly a torn labrum.
When the players were getting ready to go on the field, I heard the locker room rumor was fractured shoulder.
At practice we saw Michel standing around, without a sling or even a visible wrap.
After practice I was told (with some confidence) it was his collar bone.
Richt just said "shoulder injury" that would not need surgery.
Now I just received word from someone who claims to have spoken to Michel and that person said Sony has "re-fractured his shoulder." So we seem to have come full circle.
Not sure that clears anything up but just want you to know that the latest, best source I have spoken to said fractured shoulder. I'd have more confidence in any of these claims if Sony looked injured in the slightest. But he just looked inconvenienced at practice.
