On behalf of the UGA Athletic Association and UGA Transportation & Parking Services:
We are reaching out to inform you of a change for the upcoming football season regarding parking arrangements at South Deck.
For the 2024 football season, South Deck will be exclusively allocated for Athletics use, with the exception of a small allotment of spaces to be managed by the Georgia Center Hotel for their guests. This parking is being turned over to Athletics to help offset the loss of donor parking in other areas due to various construction projects throughout campus.
We understand that this change may impact your parking arrangements, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition process for all our supporters. As a result, those who previously utilized South Deck will have the opportunity to purchase a parking pass for Carlton Street Deck or East Campus Deck on a first-come, first-served basis similar to last year. These permits will be available for sale starting in late May 2024, and we will share specific timing as we approach the on-sale date. Please keep in mind that customers who had a permit in the 2023 season will not have a guaranteed assignment for the 2024 season.
Alternatively, season ticket holders can pursue parking through the athletics request process by opting in to the seat and parking selection process in mid-May. The minimum Hartman Fund contribution required to pursue a parking pass through athletics is $2,500, but donors can make up the difference between their per-seat contribution requirement and the parking requirement at the time of parking selection.
