Southern Cal is in a really good CFP spot, IMO...

They play high-profile games against ranked teams the next two (probably three) weeks and will have a spotlight on them, which is big down the stretch.

UCLA certainly lost some luster with their loss last night, but it's still a rivalry between two ranked teams.

Notre Dame and Marcus Freeman continue to be a media favorite.

Pac12 Champ game vs. Oregon or Utah. Again, opportunity for another win against a ranked team with spotlight on you.

And they have Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams. If USC wins the next three, they're absolutely in the CFP with their only loss being by 1 point on road at Utah. It'd be a better resume than Oregon could have had, and without the albatross of a 46-point loss around their neck.
