with a Georgia shirt on, and as I walked by I said "Nice Shirt....Go Dawgs." The kid smiled, said thanks and then his father came over and said that Georgia had just offered him a baseball scholarship....and he was only a rising Sophomore! His name is Jarrett Ford and he is from Decatur. I looked him up and he hit .625 as a freshman playing for the varsity. All his other stats were also off the chart. He was extremely polite and his family was just thrilled about the scholarship. So.....I'm just checking to see if he was in fact offered a scholarship. Hope it's true. Thanks.
