@Dan McDonald
Think he'd be a legitimate high major candidate interested in Athens?
-Deep ties to the state (From Dalton, played at Whitfield, Bama student assistant)
-Manageable salary for UGA to work with ($2m)
-In the rebuilding process at ISU. I dug up something yesterday that ISU is replacing more minutes than any other Major 7 program this year. In addition to that, I read he is in the process of entirely changing program strategies. Hoiberg relied on recruiting transfers and Prohm is attempting to build sustainability from actual prep players. Has a good class signed for 2018 indicating they are headed in the right direction.
I say all that only to say that perhaps with our current roster and commits, and even a potential 2018 Hagans, puts him in a great position to hit the ground running relative to where he is right now in Ames. The fact UGA is tee'd up pretty good for a successor applies to any coach I guess.
