Streaks are rare

The reason that long win streaks are rare is that is almost impossible to avoid a game where everything goes against you. Having critical players injured is not an excuse, as it happens to everyone, but it is a factor when you run into that game where the ball bounces the other way. Fumbles by Milton and us bounced their way.
Here, you have a motion penalty that leads to a FG missing by an inch and bouncing off the upright, the refs failing to review a dropped 4th down pass that leads to a TD, and a non forced fumble resulting in a FG. The difference is 27-17 our way.
It happens. No streak lasts forever. But it is a shame to lose this way.
