Can someone please explain in simple English exactly how this student ticket thing works? I can understand wanting as many students as can, to have the experience of a home Georgia game. But, how or who determines which game a student gets tickets to?
My daughter contacted me yesterday very upset that she did not get a ticket for the Alabama game. Of course, she wants to go to all of the home games; but the very one she wanted the most, she did not get.
I don't know if my information is correct, but I have been told that there are more request for tickets than there are seats available. If this is correct, how does the Athletic ticket office determine who will be left out in the cold on game day?
I told her that I will do what I can to help her find a ticket but I know that finding a "single" ticket will be like trying to find a push pin in a barn full of hay. And if I do, it will probably cost as much as her tuition was this semester.
