It's just an opinion, I really don't have any facts, but I've always felt the "don't sub for the hot shooter" worry was overblown (although it's been demonstrated previously we rarely sub for a player first opportunity after after he makes a shot.) That's kind of a rec league/high school concept - these guys are at a very different level.
