Each year, we seem to have a guy who doesn't play for a few games and no reason is given. Wollridge is this season's recipient of the CMF SSS award. In prior seasons it was Cam Forte and JJ once went almost 3 whole games without seeing the floor.
I will say that in this case, I do believe EW has struggled and it has gotten to his head a bit, and I think that sometimes sitting can be a help. Also, after the first few games, we started playing CM at the 3 and EW couldn't really get much going, so his minutes have gone away. The question is EW vs KPG, but unlike a lot of you, I have been really happy with KPG's energy on D. No, there isn't much offense, but sometimes you just need a guy to come in off the bench and give you hard-nosed D, and he is doing that. Also, during the Arky game, he sat next to the coaches all game, and seemed to have good conversations. He didn't sulk at the end of the bench.
I do think EW will get some more minutes at some point, but I think he has hit that FR wall and I hope he regains his stroke because if we can get him as a threat from outside, that would be huge.
