Just to lighten the mood while some of us are tense and nervous…yes, me a bit.
Okay Dawg men and women………let’s talk about superstitions and sacrifice.
At the beginning of our first Natty run, I bought a pair of Columbia red Dawgs shorts and wore them with the same T Shirt and shoes. I never washed the shorts to this day. I have washed the T Shirt, socks and draws. Yes, I wore that outfit to Indy in the 11 degree weather. That was the sacrifice I made to try and have my superstition help the Dawgs win and it worked. Therefore, I have continued the streak.
My family and I have attended all of the SECCG since 2002, Playoff Bowl Games and the Natty’s.
We are 0-3 in the Benz against our opponent. Therefore, I’m going to make a sacrifice and remain outside of the building with my shorts, T Shirt and shoes to see if my superstition and sacrifice will help our Dawgs get over the hump on the last hump there is to get over.
Those of you in the building…..bring home the W.
Oh - and I have a cup too……
