Yeah this week it's not just me. It is all of us, and it should be because this week calls for serious concern. Concern #1: Jalen Milroe is as slick as baby oil, no diddy. UGA has always struggled against quarterbacks who can run. You may say, "Well he only has 30 something rushing yards against us last year" blah blah blah whatever pal. Kalen DeBoer does not care about the longevity of Milroe. He will run Milroe and Justice Haynes 60 times if that is what it takes to win. I do trust our linebackers more this year, but our defensive line is still not close to 100%. I think we need huge games from Chaz and Jalon in terms of containing the run. Concern 2: I love Carson. I fight on behalf of Carson Beck every damn Saturday when my mouth breather friends tell me he's not elite. But, this is a safe place (I hope) and his last performance was bad. No if, ands, or buts about it. He looked slow, missed throws and hasn't looked like himself all season if we are being completely honest. We need him to bring his A game Saturday if we want to win this thing. Concern 3: How the hell are we going to get there? Between the tropical storm that's already here and the hurricane is coming, Athens is getting Eiffel Towered by bad weather right now. I'm no pilot but I can hardly drive the car right now much less a plane. I'm not sure how all that works but we may need to call in Sully to fly us to Tuscaloosa. Concern 4: WE NEVER BEAT THESE MFERS. We are 1-8 in our last 9 meetings. Hopefully that was just Saban making that deal with the devil and not a Bama Owning UGA thing, but this Saturday we will find out.
