I have no doubt this is a talented team, but I certainly have my concerns. Do we start slow trying to find an identity on offense? We lost Carson's safety blankets in Brock and Ladd, so who is going to be that this year? Lovett and Bell would be my guess. How do our backs pick up the blitz? Cash is a relatively smaller back, Branson hasn't played in over a year and Frazier is a freshman. On the defensive side of the ball, how does our secondary play together? 3 new starters and Daylen was underwhelming last year. With all of those factored together, I am a little concerned on some missed assignments and blown coverages. Meanwhile, Clemson retained almost all of its production on offense last year and somehow managed to keep one of the best linebackers in the Nation.
Anyways, I truly believe that the weaknesses I suspect will become strengths as the season progresses and this team plays together more. Go Dawgs
