I was impressed by Anderson despite his relatively quiet night. He has the frame and the body control to where you can see the George Pickens comparison Kirby Smart used on his official visit.

Bryan McClendon is in contact pretty much every day. The Bulldogs used Anderson's official visit last weekend to show off how he could be used as an outside receiver in the offense. During a meeting with Smart, Anderson said he wanted to be great. Smart, of course, told him Athens is the place to be.

Another key figure here is Dylan Raiola. Anderson made a point to prolong our interview last night to discuss his relationship with the Georgia quarterback commit. Raiola is texting Anderson every day telling him to come to Athens, be a No. 1 target, be a guy Raiola looks to on third downs, etc etc.

I don't think anything is super imminent here as far as timing. But I do really like where the Bulldogs are in their pursuit of flipping Anderson at this point. I think Smart and McClendon have their guy and are closing in on landing him.

Davis didn't play last night due to injury. He will be in Athens today.

Chidera Uzo-Diribe and Tray Scott are both involved here. The current vision for Davis is as more of a stand-up outside linebacker. He said the staff has compared him to Marvin Jones Jr.

Davis is high on Georgia's board in 2025 and he is certainly feeling that love. The potential of having 2 former teammates in Athens by the time he commits wouldn't hurt Georgia's case either. The Bulldogs are among a small group of 2 or 3 top contenders here as they host Davis this weekend.
