I wasn't immediately accepted socially by the Venters (back when the community was a huge social group). And Terry helped everyone warm up to me. I was a punk rocker and everyone was a little standoffish, but Terry was having none of it. It's just who he was. By the end of my first Ventogether, with Tee by my side the whole time, I was doing shots with everyone, and was completely accepted. He was definitely the Vent's social director. And remained a true friend to me for many years.
