They say family isn't always just about blood, well, I would agree. I came to this community that I have been apart of for a long time, humbly asking for help. I didnt know what to expect. I knew there were some genuine folks who have a passion for life and this great university we all hold in such high regard. I knew that for the most part, i was tapping into some good ole southern hospitality. At worst, I knew I would receive genuine concern and prayers for my plight. I had no idea that this place would rise up and HUNKER DOWN for one of its own the way it did.

Late Wednesday evening I posted my request and the magic began. Donations started to stream in for the next 48 hours and the love that accompanied them was overwhelming. I am not ashamed to say that I was moved to tears more than once as donation after donation came in. Dawgnation showed it's true colors, that it cares for one of its own. That when the chips are stacked against a fellow Dawg, I do not stand alone. I will always remember this week and always remember that while we live in a time of rampant corruption, selfishness and hate, that there is still a genuine compassion, connection created by a community of rabid fans for our beloved Dawgs. I used to get flack from my wife for the fact that I spent so much money and time on this website, Well, I told her, don't ever give me no more shit! When we are up against the biggest challenge of our 22 years of marriage, its was the fine people of UGASPORTS.COM that rose up and saved us! (i kid about that last line, a little) As if this story was'nt amazing and incredible enough, on Friday morning it took an even more divine twist.

You see, I used a new support website called SUPPORTNOW.org to raise the majority of the funds. The main reason was they do not take anything off the top top of donations like GOFUNDME and others do. So i setup my registry and we were off andf running. Well, after I heard from their rep, Scott mid week just to check in and ask if I needed anything, I asked and confirmed that I could get some of the funds paid out by the weekend. That led to Friday morning, in which I reached out via phone to speak with Scott and he asked about my story. I told him that the crazy part of this week is that the majority of donations that came in were from a community of Georgia Bulldog fans from a site called UGASPORTS.com and its message forum, THE DAWGVENT. He then said what? Wait.....He says, I saw some of your donations and one them being RADI NABULSI and the names of people like LSUDAWG, etc and thought that was odd, but yet familiar. Well to make a long story short, Scott has been a member of this site for over 20 years, You might know him has SPARAGETI1. He told he somehow missed my post because he is a recruiting junkie and spends most of his time on the VAULT. Well needless to say, we both were amazed and stunned over this connection. I randomly chose a company to help my cause that is ran and founded by a Dawg and UGA grad. Amazing right? Proving once again the sorta folk that this great university spits out! Scott added that his customer service manager for the company lives here in Louisville. How can one not say this was just meant to be!? How can one not say this was not a a divine appointment. Yes, what I am dealing with with my health and finances is a very real mountain, but as a man of faith, whose faith has been tested,(way more to that story some other time) what mountain stands a chance against the almighty JEHOVAH GOD?!

So as I try to wrap this up, not only has my faith in people, and in God been restored, my belief that this place, this community is truly special. I can't wax poetic as some, so I will just say that all I know is that I will never forget this. I CANNOT WAIT to be back in a position to be able to pay it forward for the next DAWG in need. Thank you from the depths of my heart and soul for each one who prayed and donated to save my family and make sure we can keep the focus on my health and restoration. Your continued prayers are appreciated as i begin to recover and heal and get back to work as soon as the doctors let me.

Thank you to the greatest collection of people I have never met but didn't flinch to help!

PS. Thank you Radi and staff for supporting and helping this request get the visibility it needed. Much love!

Please consider SUPPORTNOW.org for you next fundraising project, etc. They are fellow Dawgs and are real, caring people.

Lastly, I would re-missed not add that one can only come to one conclusion. This is a an omen that Georgia will absolutely curb stomp the gators on Saturday most importantly.........THE NATTY IS BACK ON!!!!!!!
