Normally, I say just get into the top 4 and beat who ever you play. This year the proximity of the semifinals is important and having that #1 gives you some influence to which game you play.
Similar to 2018 the semi final games are being held on Jan 1 (once again you can thank the Rose Bowl for this cluster) with a short turn around to the finals on Jan 8. Coming home from LA after a late game and getting ready for Bama on an already short week was extremely challenging for our staff and team. Meanwhile Bama got to make the quick flight from New Orleans and basically have an entire day jump on us.
It will be a huge advantage for us to play in Nola vs Pasadena. Another reason to go out and kick ass Sat night.
