today was not talent. The announcers touched on it without going into it in depth. It is the fact that they play with confidence. And why is that? Because Pearl let's them play to their strengths. He is ok with missed shots or tos as long as they are being aggressive. I bet our roster today had higher ranked players especially with Brown out, although he wasn't that highly recruited by the majors.
Confidence is so important in any sport. Take it away and you have what we see. Forget the bs by those who say we don't have enough talent. If you haven''t seen enough of players regressing year to year and month to month to convince you where the problem is then I don't know what you are watching.
