Yes it should but it seems like the SEC doesn't get as many bids as it used to. They sent 5 last year but 3 the year before. It seemed like in the 90's the SEC would sometimes get 6 teams in. A lot of folks say the SEC is not very good at hoops but I think it just tends to be a more physical league. 20 wins used to be the magic # but let's see.

The pace and hustle in first half, I thought "Can they keep this up?" Was an awesome game and hope they get in.

I came to check out the board for hoops info but all I see are crappy political post. I wish I could get excited about the NIT but I really can't. I feel like the SEC is in serious need of re-evaluating hoops as a whole after only sending 2 teams to the NCAA's. Hoops just doesn't seem as popular. Schools can't stack up the recruiting classes and build iron clad teams like they can in football. You get coaches like Calipari and Pitino who run a completely corrupt program yet get away with small punishment. Maybe next year. Maybe we should bring back the NIT banners and try and celebrate a 19 win season.

I see the team taking a step back next year. Fox is just about the worst at teaching offense we've ever had. It takes forever for most of his recruits to contribute more than a bit here and there.
Losing so much in the backcourt will take time to recover from, maybe years. This team looks like the apex for awhile, let that soak in. As long as Fox is HC we'll be in this cycle from bad to mediocrity, then bad again.
