Just thought I would bring that up. Just saying. The basic Democratic mantra is contrary to that.

I presume you are referring to the democRAT party which has absolutely nothing to do with the democratic mantra which might fairly be stated as something like, "life liberty and the pursuit of happiness" or "that government governs best which governs least".
Please don't confuse the two. Because, the last refuge of the democRAT party is ignorance.
