Investigative reporter Gator: This Golden story was leaked purposely early this a.m. by a UAA staffer who was angry at the Stricklin announcement yesterday about Billy. SS had known about this late September and bylaws state an investigation must commence immediately. One didn't even occur formally, much less informally. SS sat on this with zero action. Couple this with the women's basketball scandal a few years ago and this is definitely the end of Stricklin.
(So people in the Florida athletic department knew their basketball coach was a pervert committing criminal acts, but saw no need to make it public and was okay with him continuing to lead their team. But then Strickland said Napier would be back and they decided it was time to get the news out.)
