I had the pleasure of playing against and watching him up close and personal in the later stages of his career. Six-nine with a wingspan that allowed him to play over taller opponents and dominate anyone smaller. Connie had the largest hands of anyone I've ever seen. He was the first to use his immense hands to revolutionize the game opening the way for later guys who copied and improved on his style such as Dr. J and Jordan. Many folks don't realize what an advantage it is to be able to grasp the rock like a softball allowing all kinds of freedom of movement. He was a fun guy to be around as well.
