This should be a huge campaign issue. It’s a reflection of how the country is run.
When a leader surrounds themselves with weak people, then the weak supporters owe their allegiance to the leader, and the weak's next best job opportunity is a tremendous drop in salary/prestige,...so hiring unqualified people around you is advantageous when the goal is loyalty among them and not performance
