I've posted some stats below for Russell Wilson... Hear me out on this. I'm not at all suggesting that Lambert is close to Russell Wilson, but rather that Russell Wilsom showed significant improvement going from NC State to Wisconsin. Granted, he had very respectable stats at NC State, but the stats he posted at Wisconsin were out of this world. His completion percentage went up 12 pts, and he threw 5 more TDs and 10 less INTs. He went from a team where he had to constantly press to be the lone playmaker. NC State had a poor OL, weak running game, and no playmakers at WR. Everything was on the shoulders of Wilson there. He goes to Wisconsin and has an OL, and a great running attack and he puts up heisman worthy numbers. I do not expect Lambert to sniff those numbers, but if Wilson can make this big improvement, why can't Lambert make a big jump as well. I'd say that Lambert was dealing with an even worse supporting cast at UVA than Wilson had at NC State, and Lambert will have a better supporting cast here than Wilson had at Wisconsin. I see no reason that Lambert can't put up Hutson Mason type numbers this year, and I think most of us believe we could go a long way with that production this year.
