that's what this team struggled with and why we ended up 12th in conference.
Consecutive HBP, poor throw to the plate on an easy out and 3 runs score on one freaking hit. When you have abysmal hitting, you have to get the little things right. This team struggled with that aspect all season and it cost us once again.
It's a shame because Dylan was pitching a decent game. He was grinding, but getting outs when he needed them. I watched UK play Alabama and there doesn't seem to be one easy out in that lineup. I hope we can get there in a few seasons.
Disappointing end to a below average season. Another one in the books. Boy oh boy its frustrating watching all these other SEC teams roll in to Hoover with stellar clubs. We will get there again. Hopefully sooner than later.
