The market ripping since election…important not because…

It makes people in the market wealthier. It is important because of what it is signaling.

The Dow has done well the past couple years mainly because the biggest tech stocks have done well. But the equal weighted market and smaller companies have not done well.

Since the election most notably the Russel 2000 is up by 10 percent. 10 percent.

The only sectors not ripping are those relying on overseas business.

The market knows that de-regulation, America first economic policy, M&A activity,, etc…..is universally good for American business.

Trump isn’t re-inventing the wheel. He is very simply letting capitalism do what it does, and to the extent he is going to step in….it is going to be on behalf of American business and Americans.

This should be universally celebrated.
 
I think it is interesting that Harris tried to make a last minute pitch that she was all about helping small businesses. The day after the election and since, Small Cap index stocks are up about 12%. Obviously, investors saw otherwise.
