For those that haven't listened, he knows everything about everything. Seriously, the guy probably sleeps 2 hours per night while he stays up and watches every football and basketball game in College and Pro. Strange guy. Mentally irregular as Rocky would say.

Last year he made the prediction that Deshaun would start for Clemson in Game 1 and they would grow with him. 2 months later he said that he needed some snaps during the UGA game but would take a few weeks to take the starting job. The 2nd of those options was the right one so he goes on the air saying "I've been saying all along that Watson would take over the job by xxx game". Hard to argue with a guy like that.

Anyway, he goes off on the SoCar and UGA QB jobs. After a 10 minute rant about what a joke our OC hire was and how nobody wanted that guy. Then a 5 minute rant on how UGA is a 'shingle school' and anybody could win at UGA and how CMR is apparently satisfied with the Belk Bowl level of postseason. Of course he jabs at how Missou can come in and win the East so quickly but fails to jab at Notre Dame winning the ACC like that in basketball!

Finally gets to the QBs. Goes off on Brice Ramsey. Said he is the reincarnation of Tereshinkski and Joe Cox. A noodle arm and couldn't make a big time throw if his life depended on it. Said he couldn't even win a punt pass and kick competition with HS kids.

Said that the best arm is Park and the toughest guy is Bauta. The choice needs to be between 1 of those 2 guys and nobody else. Said Park would chuck 2 int's per game but that was ok and they could win with him. With BR we would be a 7 to 8 win team. Park could get us to 10 and above. Bauta would get us to 8 or so.

I trust that this guy is good at analyzing talent and that he has watched all 3 play the game. I just can't believe UGA and Bama would offer BR if he is as bad as Deptula is saying. He seemed pretty good to me when he was in, it was just that the game was moving to fast for him. He made me nervous for him!

If Deptula is anywhere near dialed in on this situation, then there really isn't a competition. We need to focus on getting Park ready to go and move on. Is it that dramatic in their arm strength and ability to win games with this team??
