The scores obviously aren't myths but saying they are building to something close and using the last two games as examples is very misleading.

2013: Gurley is hurt, we are playing at their place, they have an NFL offensive line which is gone now yet we start quietly spanking them. We lose Marshall, so now we are down to true freshman backs, one is a white dude and one is undersized. Our top WR is out with an ACL, yet we have won two games against top ten opponents coming in. We lose our next top deep threat to acl, we lose our most reliable WR to knee injury. Our punter has not been taught to speed up his kicks yet......next thing we know we are in a dog fight on the road......we still find a way to win on the road with more adversity than I have ever seen in one game.

2014: Poor coaching, offensively and defensively we win a close one on grit and gurley running the ball more carries than usual. Our defense has not figured it out yet at that point, the secondary was still getting it together and wasn't on the same level that they were only a couple games later. Lets put it this way, if we play Tenn later in the season, it looks a lot different, its likely a blow out. The team that played against Ark and Mizzou was not the same as the one that played tenn. The secondary that finished 5th in the nation in pass coverage wasn't close to what it is now when we played tenn yet we still won.

I don't discount the recent recruiting success of Tenn, nor do I refute that they are trending up and I also think this could be a tough game due to timing and venue. However, using the scores of the last two games to point out that Tenn is close to UGA is not seeing the whole story/picture.
