When you get into conference schedule, It gives nominally less talented, less deep teams the opportunity to keep games close…if the favored team misses a score on a possession, it’s like the point spread goes out the window.
Seeing this today with Florida State, Alabama, us, etc.
It seems like this is going to make SEC games much more like NFL games as far as final scores go…
A 10 point win against an overmatched opponent is probably going to be more the rule than the exception going forward…
