It seems that every week we have threads asking about places to park. I figured I would make a thread that can be referenced back to that covers the options. Please add to this list and/or suggest edits/corrections as you see fit based off your experiences. I'll update this post based on the feedback.

- East Village Parking Deck (courtesy of @Mcjones1969 )
- Details: Free (first come, first served); good option for low-interest games or if you get there really early; take the loop to college station road, right on River Road (toward Ramsey Ctr), right on East Village
- Cost: Free
- Pros: No cost, ability to bus to/from game (bus goes to Ramsey center after the game), no need to purchase ahead of time
- Cons: Fills up quickly on busy game days
- Intramural Fields
- Details: Some areas are free (first come, first served after East Village Deck fills up) and some are paid using ParkMobile (see below); areas include parking lots, parking deck, and ball fields
- Cost: Free to ~$20
- Pros: Low cost, ability to bus to/from game, no need to purchase ahead of time for free sections
- Cons: The fields are sometimes closed (when it rains) which limits parking; getting out after a big game can take a while
- Clarke Central High School
- Details: Entrances on both Milledge and Baxter; pay onsite (cash and credit accepted)
- Cost: $20
- Pros: Plenty of spaces available (can be a good last-minute option if you're having trouble finding a space); bathrooms available in the gym; several spaces are shaded; several eating options along Baxter
- Cons: No bus to/from game; 15-20 minute walk (mostly uphill going back after game)
- Butler Building (courtesy of @Obi Won )
- Details: Across the street from Clarke Central on Milledge
- Cost: $20
- Pros: Plenty of spaces available (can be a good last-minute option if you're having trouble finding a space); bathrooms available on site; several eating options along Baxter
- Cons: No bus to/from game; 15-20 minute walk (mostly uphill going back after game)
- ParkMobile
- Details: UGA-controlled lots where a pre-purchase of an eTicket is required; lots include Ramsey Center Parking Deck, UGA Health Center Lot, IM fields, Carlton St Deck, etc.
- From ParkMobile app or website, choose Reserve, then search Sanford Stadium. Click on the ticket icon on Sanford to see the various options.
- Cost: Varies ($20 and up)
- Pros: Guaranteed spot; relatively low-cost for some lots; some options have buses available to get you to/from game
- Cons: Have to plan ahead and buy ticket in advance; most lots sell out by gameday (for popular games); tickets don't open up until about the Monday before the game
- Details: UGA-controlled lots where a pre-purchase of an eTicket is required; lots include Ramsey Center Parking Deck, UGA Health Center Lot, IM fields, Carlton St Deck, etc.
- Private Lots
- Details: Several lots operated by churches, organizations, businesses; examples include several lots along S. Lumpkin between Butts-Mehre and the GA Center, several businesses in the downtown area, Dougherty Street, etc.
- Cost: Varies ($20-$50)
- Pros: Some can get you relatively close to the stadium
- Cons: May fill up quickly for popular games; cost can be relatively high, depending on location; no busing to/from stadium
- StubHub (I don't have any experience with this--additional info welcomed)
- Details: Purchase tickets for paid lots from private sellers
- Cost: Varies
- Pros: Guaranteed spot; some lots are extremely close to the stadium
- Cons: Prices can be very high; need to plan ahead
- Downtown (public parking)
- Details: This is an option I've heard discussed a few times; if you park at a meter and just let it expire, you may get a parking ticket; however, that parking ticket is rumored to be
$20$40, so even with the ticket it's still a reasonable option; I tried this for one game 2 years ago and didn't even get a ticket, so was free to me - Cost: The cost of a parking ticket (
$20?)--per @accountingdawg2012 below, they appear to have increased the price of a ticket to $40 - Pros: Lots of great food options; great gameday atmosphere; relatively low cost compared to some options
