was because Fox finally decided to play some zone for an extended period. It was the difference, because it limited penetration,3 pt shots and cut down on our fouls. The other factor about playing zone is how much time they were talking to even get a good look. When you have a lead the zone eats up clock, which is muy importante.

HK committed two of the most egregious defensive plays tonight that cost us five points in the second half. His awkward effort to plug the middle ( he didn't even see it till too l;ate) on a drive with the lane absolutely wide open cost us a layup. And the foul in the lane when he overran the play, took the fake, gave up the bucket and fouled the guy was a 3pt play. He just cannot play D and should never be in those situations. He made a good hustle play in the first half, but that was it.

Jordan Harris needs to see more action. His drive, completely under control, into the lane and the incredible pass to thread the needle to Diatta was enough to show me he is special. And Diatta's drive to the rack off the dribble and reverse layup were bigtime. He passed up a wide jumper earlier, so he needs to be told to score. I can see 10-12 points on any given night fir him, if he gets the minutes.

JJ's drive and reverse layup will be a highlight for the season for sheer talent and skill. And people were still posting this year JJ can't penetrate. The guy is making a living there.

DO and ME, along with Yante, can dominate in the paint many nights. Get them the ball on the block as often as possible. especially early. DO needs to go towards the hoop on his jump hook instead of falling away. These guys are big and athletic enough to control the boards out of a zone defense. If someone is near you block out, if not just go to the board as hard as you can.

JP is coming in top his own and playing like the veteran he is. His shot is getting better and I'm feeling like he is gonna be a bigger asset than maybe I thought.

Use the zone when needed, keep HK and KPG on the bench, use Harris, Diatta, ME and hopefully Crump as your subs and you can be a very solid team imo.
