The QB position this fall.... overrated?

No, you really cannot overrate the" importance" of the QB and how he executes the offense but at the same time you cannot overrate the importance of the QB protecting the football. It only takes 3 slight mistakes in reading the defense, hitting the precise target, or trying to make something out of nothing for 3 turnovers to hit the Box Score and TOs absolutely kill momentum.

With that as background and given the embarrassment of riches in the 2015 RB and TE corp as well as some electric wideouts and slot receivers plus MM26 on the edge to stretch the field... why would the QB try to BE the offense? I am much more confident now than I was even a few weeks ago that the starting QB could be any of the three and be successful if he values the football more than impulse actions.

I am reminded of AJ McCarron's type field management for bama in 2011-12 or David Greene type leadership for UGA in 2001-04. Neither QB tried to force the game, both were very successful leading their respective teams.

Just a thought.
