Does that really mean anything? You could put me in charge of the offense with the same alignments and playbook. We’d be terrible bc I wouldn’t know what the hell I was doing.
Maybe Bobo is awful, perfect, or something in between. I don’t think the fact that the playbook is similar accounts for much of that though. It struck me as an odd response from insiders and even directly from CKS.
It sounds more like coach speech when publicly evaluating offensive woes is at odds with standing behind the two biggest determining factors of it: the OC and QB.
Patience seems like the right mindset for a fan who’s watched the Dawgs improve in season for years. They’ve earned that benefit of the doubt and then some. I’m not buying that neither the OC nor the QB is a significant cause in an underperforming offense though.
