Ronald is on pace to hit 9.53... Olson, Riley, Arcia and Harris are on pace to hit 14.29. Obviously a lot of this will correct itself, but so far, I feel pretty dang comfortable in my assertion that the ball isn't as lively as it was last year and certainly not as lively as it was in 2019. Fans aren't okay with this. And it wouldn't shock me if MLB tightens the ball around the end of May. I could dismiss all this if so many high exit velocity balls weren't just falling dead.
