The truth is that Beck and Bobo both deserve blame

Beck is clearly off. Looking down receivers, throwing into triple coverage, not realizing the LBs can fall back into coverage especially when Beck is in the pocket for 4 seconds, not throwing the ball away, not going to checkdowns, not seeing the entire field, bad footwork, stepping out to the left oddly on several throws, and surely more.

Beck deserves blame for the above. However, so does Bobo. Beck’s problems are not new. He has made the same mistakes for the past 5 games while throwing 11 interceptions.

What that means is that Bobo has had six weeks including a bye week to help him improve. Whatever Bobo has been coaching for the past month and a half is not getting through. That is on the coach.

Maybe Bobo is saying all the right things, and Beck is just tuning him out. In that case, maybe Beck needs to hear it from a new voice. However, when a talented QB is playing that poorly for that long, the coach deserves blame.

Beck has regressed. That is equally on Beck and Bobo.
