NIL has changed everything and has leveled the playing field in regards to traditions, facilities and success.
Then, when a kid does make an honest assessment of where he wants to go to school, it makes it worst.
Many kids now being sold financial packages instead of school opportunity packages.
The “opportunity” that colleges provide players has now turned into professional contracts.
Who knows where this is going, but it is going to be just be a professional minor league.
Honestly, facilities aren’t going to be the selling factor much longer, except for the marginal players or financially set families looking for the best fit.
Less emphasis will be placed on fit and it will become mercenary. The players will get along fine cause they are getting paid.

More and more players will never finish school. That is an indicator to watch.
NIL was never suppose to be packaged by the school to entice recruits to commit. It was to reward them in a way to help them through the college years. But the wolves in the brush will corrupt anything with a financial gain attached. So many will benefit from this far beyond the players and schools.
Saying all that, I don’t blame the players for taking the money. I would. It’s just a shame amateur sports has disappeared into the abyss.
