have led to several positive outcomes is getting the ball down low early and in better position. This allows us to play more inside out. We are also getting more looks inside.

The other thing we did a few times in the Ole Miss game ,and more than any game this year yesterday, was fastbreak. Some suggested here, when I said that we needed to run more when we had the opportunity, replied we didn't have the kind of players to run the floor and it would lead to more turnovers. We were better grinding it out. My response was we have several players well-suited to getting out on the break including KG, CM, JJ, Nemi, KPG and Cam.

We had 10 turnovers yesterday and 18 assists, while running more than we have all year. Yes, the quality of Mizzou had something to do with it, but Mizzou played better D in the 2nd half and our halfcourt offense bogged down. Our break allowed us to put them away. We also have had had 34 offensive rebounds in the past two games, 19 yesterday. That also is in part due to a quicker tempo and getting inside looks. We also had good looks at jumpers on the secondary break.

Two cardinal rules of basketball are utilize all the strengths of your players and take what the defense will give you. When we run, if the opportunity is there, we are applying those principles.
