Georgia lost. Only by 3 points.
Our first round tackle didn't play. The best Tight end in football (probably best player, also) and our go-to wide receiver were obviously not at 100%.
As far as playoffs, one of my mentors told me that it easy to pick the first and second place and maybe third place. The fourth and fifth place are really usually toss ups. That is what the play offs are. Today FSU, Washington, UGA and Alabama have pretty equal resumes. My guess is that Alabama and Georgia don't make the cut. Both of their last two games were not strong enough wins and it is the bureaucratic (committee) best solution.
Selection committees usually decide this way.
