I have other issues on the overall site, but am known here in the kudzu as the guy calling for stricklin's head for 5 years. Hopefully, in our conversations, I've been pretty well thought out, and non inflammatory.

That being said... you've been the most influential baseball person. I am not the one saying the season is over, heck, we've had horrible opening SEC series before, and then done well.

But my question is this... have we recruited the right players, or if we took flyers on recruits/transfers, have we coached them up?

I look at other SEC programs and see .450 hitters with power. We have that. I see SEC teams with .375 hitters, no power, but they don't strike out and get on base.

Consistent under Strick is we have one or two of these players, and not 4-6 of these players. And now, our pitching is mediocre, at best, when Strick had fantastic arms in the past.

You have often said .500 in conference is fantastic. Does Strick deserve another year if he gets to .500 in conferences, but we perform like we have in regional?

To me, worst case scenario is the 2008 Tornado SECC and we freaking win a decidedly useless SEC tourney championship. At this point, from what you've seen vs a VERY weak schedule, Should Strick ever keep his job? I haven't had hope with him for over 5 years, but you have. Talk us off the ledge back into Strick's high rise condo (albeit, on the 1.5th floor, above the trashcan, but still vulnerable to someone on the balcony.
