DO hurt early, KG banged up, getting youngs guys some early minutes so that we would be ready for the conference portion of the season....all those things contributed to our loss totals. This is what I posted on 10/28 -
"We play a pretty tough pre-SEC schedule. I see us losing a few early that might even have this board up in a tizzy, which is no surprise. However, I see this as the classic type of team that gets stronger and stronger as the season wears on. We are DEEP (finally!!) and have options on the bench. We have some key young players that just need some OJT, that's all.
We will be very, very dangerous in February and March.
I just hope and pray we stay healthy this year. That to me is the real key - our guards collective health.

We should end the pre-SEC slate at 7-3. Given our schedule and the minutes we needed to log for our young uns, I think our results are realistic. We lost our three games by a combined total of 11 points.
