Here are the things I understand:
- We suck at OT. I understand that. We've had talented players leave early and the last two cycles have sucked. We are playing guards at tackle and one of them has been battling injuries. I get it.
- We suck at WR. I understand that. Ladd was a stud and he is gone. Lost Rara and Young to criminal stupidity. Evans has been hurt. White has been hurt. I get it. Got a good class coming in.
- DT is not our best spot. Injuries have not helped. Got a good class coming in.
- No one is Bowers, but I cannot understand our TE play. Dropping the ball. Piss poor blocking in-line. Piss poor blocking on the perimeter. The talent is there -- why we are getting this crappy performance baffles me.
- Lots of problems on D despite loads of talent:
- Defensive game plans at Bama and Ole Miss were as bad as I have ever seen. I thought Coach GS was supposed to be all that, but the loss of Lanning and Muschamp has left a massive hole in the D.
- Team struggling to get aligned defensively.
- Starks has taken a massive step backward.
- Can't get home even when we blitz.
- Crap DB play.
- Regression of 15. I get that we lead the nation in drops. I am not talking about losing some percentage points off of his completion percentage. He just looks like a totally different guy. He has been missing open opportunities, throwing into triple coverage, and his body language sucks.
