When I first started with this site pretty much exactly 6 years ago on Labor Day (crazy how time flies), the first basketball recruit I called and did a story on was Donte Williams. He signed with the Dawgs and went to the NCAA Tournament his freshman year.
From time to time in my first stint with UGASports, I helped out with football recruiting and the first recruit our recruiting analyst at the time asked me to call was Greyson Lambert. He's now the starting QB.
And when I came back to the site last year around this time when Radi took over, the first recruit I did a story on was Elijah Holyfield. And we saw what happened with him today.
That makes me 3 for 3. Just sayin'...
