This is how I see the Fox situation going down

They would not fire him during the season. If McGarity thinks there needs to be a change, he will probably start talking to the big basketball boosters because they will have to pay Fox’s buyout and I don’t know what that is. Then he can start doing some back channel talks with agents. I don’t know if he would hire a search firm or not. I don’t see us getting a big name coach unless it’s someone who has been fired like Tom Crean or Billy Donovan (assuming he loses his NBA job). We would be looking at mid major guys who are young and on the rise. My guess is McGarity would push to keep Jonas on the staff no matter who takes over. If we don’t make a change after the debacle of this year’s season, then I don’t know what to expect moving forward. I’ve already stopped watching the games because it’s that bad.
