This quote represents a majority of the alumni/fan base and those with the money pulling the strings. Bottom line, he is a nice guy that won't get the school in trouble, damn the annual win/loss record. Keep it between the ditches and the checks will keep rolling in...
This quote is from the comments section of an old article I just read...
"CMR is human just like the rest of us & will make mistakes as we all
do. But I, for one, am behind him 100%, although I liking winning vs
losing any day. He is an excellent role model, mentor, a man with high
principles & good Christian values. He is an asset to UGA & I
hope he stays where he is. Overall he has done a pretty good job. We
have had our share of disappointments, but who hasn't over time?
Winning--no it is not everything all of the time. Look at the big
picture. How many guys have we had go on to the NFL & always had
his support? How many coaches set examples & follow the rules like
he does? I could go on & on. I am grateful & thankful for CMR.
