you guys know anyone that buys logs with burls? I have a enormous white oak that was put on the ground that I would like to possibly sell or give away for some slices. Thanks!!

You may want to contact Jeffery Greene. He may or may not be interested (usually uses black walnut) but he makes live edge nakamura tables from large pieces of wood. He has a website. Made my table for me. Incredible tables

Contact these folks in Waynesville, NC. I've bought from them a number...

of times. Owners are Janet and Steve. I know they go all over the place buying logs like yours, but not sure about white oak. White oak without burls is worth a lot as saw timber. Your tree certainly has some incredible beauty locked up inside.

You would not believe their production shop. Logs like yours all over the place. Hundreds of redwood slabs cut from 100-year-old stumps. If they don't want it, try this guy in Marietta. I took lessons from him.
