Based on all the speculation flying around preseason that the SEC East Champion will likely be a 9-3ish type of entry, and the distinct possibility that the West representative in ATL will roll into town bruised and abused by its schedule and judged unworthy of recent SEC standards by media, the mighty SEC might just get left out of the party. Whether a 9-3 Georgia or Tennessee or Missouri manages to upset a usual suspect like LSU or Alabama or Auburn OR beat an upstart like Arkansas, Ole Miss or TAMU at the Showdown in the Dome, there is not a remote possibility that any of those SEC East teams will be voted into the Crystal Visions Playoff. And that will be fine with me as long as UGA is the winner in Atlanta regardless of their record going into that game.
BUT, it would surely be insane if a one loss Dawg outfit came out ahead of a battle royal in Atlanta, and rightfully earn a seed in the Four for More Show. Here's hoping we lose only once or less in the regular season. And while wishing, why not make Bama two (2) of our victories after all is said and done in the dome. Be still my heart.
