The MLB record is 307. The Braves have dramatically increased their pace btw. They were at a pace to hit 250 not long ago.
The clubhouse is special. I've always felt that a great hitting team was as much the byproduct of the atmosphere as it is the individual talent. And often a team can actually perform above its individual parts when everyone around you is hot. I beleive that's what we are seeing in this team.
BTW, The Braves are ahead of the Rays in the loss colum now and are on pace to win 107. This is the best they've ever been... and their pitching situation isn't even close to being settled.
