Our team does a forecast discussion for each shift to let the other meteorologists know what went into the day's forecast. Here is mine for this afternoon:

Forecast was basically continued from this morning's update. I did add a rain chance to next Sunday... GFS and ECMWF both have the low developing in the Central Plains, then moving northeast with a cold front into our region by the Sun / Mon time frame. So the consistency for the low and front / rain is there, but the timing is not. GFS likes frontal passage Sunday PM, while ECMWF has Monday PM. However, I left pops at 20% both days to account for uncertainty with timing and moisture availability. The dewpoints remain very low in advance of that system...

Other than that, pretty much everything else remained the same.

It's National Championship Saturday and I am most undecided on the game... This is one of those situations that the SPC puts out a high risk, but says it's "conditional". Does the cap hold? Does it break? I really don't know. It depends on how our defense does containing milroe, and if our offensive line can make Dallas Turner a non-factor for Alabama's defense. And to complicate matters, we could have some early day showers (SEC officials) to throw everything off. I think the forecast verifies. I'm going with the good guys winning -- Dawgs by 6, 41-35.
