I will begin by saying I'm no @TheRedRain ha but I'll give my opinion on the boys last night.
What a performance by Tony Locey, especially once the Dawgs gave him that 6-1 lead he wasn't going to surrender that lead back. He was seriously sensational last night in my opinion one of his best games he's ever pitched for UGA.
Connor Tate and Riley King really impressed me at the plate tonight and I'll say this the lineup as a whole did a phenomenal job working the count and getting good pitches to hit. Jernigan and Schunk both hit bombs that was nice to see bc it also seemed to shut up the Auburn hecklers on top of the parking deck. Overall it was just a really fun night for the Dawgs and it was nice to see them have so much success against Auburn pitcher Jack Owen who entered the game with an era of .70
I'm hoping the weather today will hold off for us so we can get the last two games in. We will see what happens.
On a side note Ryan Bliss for Auburn is a helluva player he is from LaGrange so I watched him plenty of times in high school. He's going to have a fabulous college career
